Bird Barrel Bungalows

These hand crafted "Little Barrels" are made from scrap cedar and stainless steel banding left over from our rain barrel kits. They are made in the same manner as our larger barrels. We cut channels for the banding to seat into and bevel each stave edge to form a tighter fit. The tops and bottoms of the Scroll Series are made from repurposed wood. The perches from both series are made from recycled stainless steel or galvanized bolts. The only part that is new, is the hand formed "hats" on the Tin Man Series which is made from galvanized sheet metal.

If you prefer that we stain your Bungalow, please let us know what colors you have chosen and how you want it stained. Most of our stains are from The Home Depot. If you have a stain in mind that we don't have in stock, check out the stain color chart, purchase a sample ($4.00) of that stain and we will use it to stain your Bungalow.

Special Note: We build these Bird Barrel Bungalows during the slow months (Dec.-Mar.) here at the Rainbarrel Man Co., with recycled and repurposed wood and materials that we find in our travels. As with our larger rain barrels, these are time consuming and labor intensive. We usually find just enough wood and supplies to build about 9-14 of these "little barrels". So if your thinking of getting one of these very unique bird houses, don't think for too long! Because when they are gone..... that's it until next year.
